 This is a own personal tribute to Ran

He wrote to us :

" It was the least thing I could do for a great friend, who I miss dearly, I haven't been myself since I heard the sad news. We had so many plans to do with his music.

We have a few plans to keep in his memory alive, I'm currently working a memorial gift (T.shirt & Badge) all profits will go to Ran's girlfriend (Nikki and Ran's son Billy). These will be sold via the internet and at the Sladefest Next year.

Take a little pray for rAN !

We will remember a huge SLADE fan from Belgium

and we will express one`s sympathy.

Life is beautiful, but it can be really really hard and very sad.

Sometimes it`s need a lot of power to go a hard way !

But it is so good to know, that we are not alone !

Following very sad message arrived us today

from the international Slade mailinglist :

"Dear friends,

This is a message from rAN's girlfriend Nikki.
We would like to let everyone know that rAN has had a terrible car accident on
thursday 1 November. The wonderful people at the local hospital have been fighting
for rAN's life these last three days but unfortunately it has been decided to cease all
care and to let rAN go this afternoon (4 nov.) We hope everyone will take a minute to
pray for rAN (in whichever way or form suits you) and wish him a pieceful goodbye.

Thank you and we know that rAN will forever be in everyone's heart thanks to his
beautiful music which we all have to keep on playing over and over again... keep on
rocking for rAN!
