I first heard Twins ultra-infectious version of this classic anthemic fist-raiser on their website; it's
unapologetic rock & roll spirit and sing-along chorus truly makes it stand-out as a most excellent and
refreshingly inventive debut single from the sexy Sheffield duo! Remembering that sometimes you've gotta
look back, in order to move forward - there's no bedsit electronica, acoustic surrealism or garage rock to
be found here; instead, this is music as pure entertainment, best suited to a wall of Marshall amps, guitars
turned up to 11 and a pyrotechnic display visible from orbit ... Original? No. Ironic? Maybe. Fun? Oh most
definitely YES!!!

Twin release excellant version of THAT Slade tune "Cum On feel The Noize" (Lea-Holder 1973). Slade classic has charted on every decade, since the original version by Slade went straight to number one in February 1973; 1983 Quiet Riot, 1994 Oasis, 2006 Twin ?

Camp Freddy - the Los Angeles-based "jam" group featuring guitarists Dave Navarro (ex-JANE`S ADDICTION, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS) and Billy Morrison (ex-THE CULT bassist, current CIRCUS DIABLO vocalist) alongside VELVET REVOLVER members Matt Sorum (drums) and Scott Weiland (vocals) — has just completed work on a Christmas single — a cover of SLADE`s "Merry Christmas Everybody". "I have just left the studio having mixed all day, and it sounds great, Morrison said in an online posting. "We are hoping to get it up online in a week or two."

CAMP FREDDY performed its cover of the CHEAP TRICK classic "Surrender" on NBC-TV`s "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on October 5. CAMP FREDDY`s cover of "Surrender" was selected as the lead single from the movie soundtrack "Employee of the Month".

CAMP FREDDY has been in and out of the recording studio over the past couple of years recording what is expected to eventually be released as the band`s debut album. Among the cuts that are set to appear on the effort are "20th Century Boy" (also featuring Steve Jones from THE SEX PISTOLS on lead guitar) and THIN LIZZY`s "Jailbreak" (featuring ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist Jerry Cantrell on vocals and Billy Duffy [ex-THE CULT] on lead guitar). Other guest musicians include RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith and singer Macy Gray.

Cum On Feel The Noize cover by Twins

Girl group Twin release their excellant version of Lea-Holder (Slade) classic anthem Cum On Feel the Noize. Slade`s original single went straight in at number 1 spot in the charts in February 1973. Ten years later in 1983 the song topped the charts in the USA with the Quiet Riot`s version of it. And on the next decade Oasis made a good cover.

Single is to be released on 18th September on the girls 18th birthday.

Twin will be performing the single at half time at the Sheffield Utd v Middlesbrough game on 30th September. The game will be on Prem Plus 17.15.

They will also perform the single at half time at the Sheffield Wednesday v Barnsley game on 14th October.

30 minute interview will be broadcast by BBC Radio Sheffield 19th September
